This print is one from the series of paintings Susan created for the childrens' book by Henry Kapono. In this very special edition, each gicleé is printed with a 2 inch margin around the image, for a total print paper size of 12.5 in. x 23 in. This allows for not only the signature and number by the artist in the lower margin, but also an inscription of a line from the book, hand written by the author, Henry Kapono, along with his autograph.
The title, "His Favorite Spot" is a line from the part of the story that appears on the 2 page spread of the book containing this image. In it, we see the main characters of the story looking out over a beautiful vista.
