Living in the town of Kailua, Susan Szabo walks the expansive beach along Kailua Bay almost daily. "Kailua Beach" is Susan's interpretation of of the north end of that beach, where the beautiful Koolau Mountains form a dramatic backdrop. She feels especially inspired by this place, energized by the power of the ocean, the soothing sandy beach and the peacefulness of the mountains. This image is her personal vision of this place that is so special to her and it draws the viewer into her cheerful world of color.
