One of Susan's favorite places on the island of Oahu is the lagoon that is nestled in front of the Ihilani Resort & Spa in Koolina Resort. "Koolina Morning" is her depiction of a beautiful view of that lagoon, with several varieties of palm trees in the foreground. Susan says, "I love the smooth sandy beach, the clear water, and the palms gently swaying in the breeze. This is one of my favorite places on Oahu to relax, because it is so serene and magical. I hope I captured the gentle beauty of the lagoon in this painting."
