The Gicleé Print Gicleé prints combine the latest in digital imaging technology with the fine art of print making. A digital image of the artist's original painting is carefully fine tuned to the artist's specifications. After a process of proofing many variations of the image, with subtle adjustments in color and contrast, the artist approves the version to be printed. The gicleés are then created in a super-iris printer, matching the artist's approved version of the image. The result is a fine art print of extraordinary vibrancy and unprecedented accuracy of reproduction of the original image. These fine art limited edition prints are created with exacting precision by Maui Gicleé, in Kihei, Maui, to the high standards required by the Approved Preservation Practices Program. They are printed on Arches Archival Watercolor paper, using only the most light fast inks available today. Each of Susan Szabo's gicleé prints are signed and numbered beneath the image and each is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. |
